Hello! I'm Alicia Barrera your 2nd-grade teacher! I've been teaching for 16 years! I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. I am very excited to be your teacher and I am looking forward to all the fun lessons and activities I have planned for you this school year. I hope you love science and the outdoors as much as I do. I love to explore the outdoors, go camping with my family, spend time at our property on East Austen Creek, and go hiking. This summer my family and I took an amazing trip to Maui and went on many jungle adventures. We also snorkeled with sea turtles! I also enjoy cooking/baking, shopping, and spending time with my 3 children-Gavin, Mateo, and Ellie. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you!
